Notable Retirees/Seniors: Ron Battelle – Retired Chief of St. Louis County Police [Episode 197]

May 1, 2021 by jceditor

Attorney-CPA Joe Cordell and co-host Jill Enders are joined by Ron Battelle, retired Chief of St. Louis County Police. He currently serves as Executive Director for The BackStoppers, which provides ongoing needed financial assistance and support to the spouses and dependent children of fallen police officers, firefighters, volunteer firefighters, and publicly funded paramedics and EMTs.

In this ongoing feature, seniors and retirees from all lines of work are highlighted as we discuss their experiences transitioning through retirement. Mr. Battelle talks about his reasons for retiring, how he managed his finances as he left the workforce, why he eventually chose to go back to work with The BackStoppers and his current role with the organization, and more.
