Dr. Blanche Touhill – Life’s Third Act

Attorney-CPA Joe Cordell and co-host Jill Enders are joined by Dr. Blanche Touhill, former Chancellor of the University of Missouri-St. Louis to discuss her career and retirement. Dr. Touhill retired in 2002 and was named Chancellor Emeritus. 

Ms. Touhill discusses her career, including her experience as the first woman to be hired at Queens College in New York City in the history department; what it was like working in a male dominated field; her work building the Touhill Performing Arts Center; what it’s like being named after a world-class theater; career highlights; the biggest challenges faced in her career; her video project; her remaining bucket list items; the biggest changes she’s seen in the industry in her career; and advice for young women starting their careers.
