Attorney-CPA - Dual Perspective
As a licensed attorney and CPA, Joseph Cordell is an advocate for dually-licensed professionals who endeavor to practice with all of their qualifications.
Both professions demand unique skills. However, the talents required by each profession are complementary. A dually-licensed Attorney-CPA can provide unique perspectives otherwise unavailable with a professional licensed in one field.
On July 6, 2014, Mr. Cordell was installed as the 51st president of the American Academy of Attorney-CPAs, during the organization’s 50th Anniversary Annual Meeting. Additionally Mr. Cordell was the keynote speaker at the 2014 AAA-CPA Fall Meeting & Education Conference and participated on a panel about “Prenuptial Agreements — Representing the Economically Dominant and Weaker Parties.”
Staffed with professionals, dually-qualified as certified public accountants and attorneys, the AAA-CPA aims to afford networking opportunities, quality education, and resources to help its members further their practice. The AAA-CPA also looks to protect the rights of the public to fully utilize the professional expertise of its members.
In 2017, Mr. Cordell was elected the AAA-CPA Missouri Chapter President.
